Medplaya 50 / Activities

To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we have some different things planned for this year. Some we will announce, some will be a surprise and we will tell you about them once they’ve happened!!

MedPlaya Moments Photo Competition

Our main activity is our MedPlaya Moments Photo Competition. This is where we invite all our thousands of guests from over the years to share your MedPlaya holiday photos and memories with us. It is easy to do, just go to the “Send Memories” section of this website and upload your photos with a brief description.

You can share as many photos as you like- we hope to create a large online photo album of MedPlaya over the past 50 years, and we need the help of you our guests to make this happen!

We will then pick out the TOP TEN WINNERS of the photos to award them with a free 7 NIGHTS STAY FOR 2 PEOPLE in any MedPlaya hotel. We will announce the winners  of the photo selections at different times of the year so you can keep entering and uploading your photos , – the prize giving will carry on until December!!

MedPlaya Fiesta50 Summer 2017

This year is MedPlaya’s 50th anniversary and our hotels are preparing to celebrate! During the week of July 24th, all MedPlaya hotels will be filled with partying … literally!

At all MedPlaya hotels you will find:

  • Shows by our animation team
  • Cocktails
  • Special activities
  • Anniversary cake
  • Games for everyone
  • Happy hour

… and many more surprises that we will unveil in the next few days!

Amigo Loyalty Programme

As well as hotel services, we offer various gifts which you can exchange your Amigo points for .  We are currently refreshing our Amigo gifts and will be producing some with our 50 years logo. We will let you know when the gifts have arrived at the hotels.

Staff Recognition

Our staff have all played a huge part in the 50 years success of MedPlaya. They all work hard in the hotels or our offices to make sure our guests  have a great time with us. We are very proud of the level of repeat guests we have and we know our guests appreciate the friendliness  of our staff and the service they receive in the hotels.

As part of our 50 years celebration, we will be recognising 8 members of our team with a special “Star Staff” prize. We review all our online comments and feedback received from our guests, and according to the most mentioned staff member , and together with our Hotel Managers, we will award 8 MedPlaya team members with prizes of smartphones and tablets.

We know our staff do a great job, let us know who you would like to thank for helping you have a great MedPlaya holiday!

Special Touches

Throughout the year we will try and surprise our guests with some special touches for their individual stay. We very much appreciate that our guests have a lot of choice when deciding where to spend their holidays and we thank you for choosing Med Playa.
